If the route between West Seattle and SODO is worth a 6 billion dollar rail extension, surely it is worth a better bus line for the 8+ years it will take to build that extension!
If we're not going to fix the 50 we should really split it up into two routes.
lol nenvermind this 3 minute trip by car will have taken me an hour by bus, and I can't walk because I'm carrying two car seats

My e-bike only *barely* fit into the BikeLink lockers originally. Now that I've added a front rack, it's totally hopeless. Ah well.

Heyo, West Seattle cyclists! I cleaned up the leaves on the Spokane Street bridge / Delridge Way SW / 22nd Ave SW connector again. It was quite leafy. I also trimmed back a lot of the edges. Could use more trimming but looking good!

Confirmed: SDOT will be removing the bus only lane on E Union Street this weekend, ceding this part of the $130 million RapidRide G project back to general purpose traffic in response to requests from nearby property owners.

Allowing housing in EVERY neighborhood, rather than engaging in perennial piddly debates about tiny sections of Seattle, would greatly ease gentrification pressure in areas like the CD, CID, Southeast Seattle, and South Park because renters wouldn't be confined to tiny swaths of the city.

This morning @councilmember-amr.bsky.social called for the council's transportation committee to pursue some type of formal inquiry into the decision to rule out additional bus lanes on Denny Way's most congested blocks to get the Route 8 out of traffic.
