Could Sunday be the day when Wissa clicks into gear and Elanga runs Wolves ragged for #nufc. We need it guys. We need it now. And we are hoping, praying, begging even, that you can dig down there in your pysche and find the positive striking form that brought you to the Toon. You can do it! HWTL.

About Elanga/Wissa, whether #nufc should have bought them. It hit me - we should not forget that these lads actually wanted to come to Newcastle! Many others instead wanted too much money or chased past days of glory (Man U). So I am biting my tongue and waiting for them to adapt/grow. Please guys!

#nufc fans tittled at Tauvin. Wondered wtf at Andreas Andersson. Rubbe eyes at Riviere. But wtf do we say about Elanga. They all looked like footballers potentially. Elanga has taken our investment in optimism over capability to a ridiculous point with fans asking "why did we do this!?"
January 14, 2026 at 4:49 PM
Been following the Toon for 50 years now. I have never ever seen an expensive marquee signing be so clueless about how to actually play football, be incisive and create moments in the game for #nufc. Who do you think I am talking about?
January 14, 2026 at 3:42 PM
#nufc simply don't have the fire power on the pitch or off the bench to deal with the absolute barrage of talent on display and that Man City have bought over the last few seasons. Legally or not. Nevermind, proud of the team and what they gave tonight. HWTL.

Woltemade has just go no idea of the speed and strength needed to actually strike in the box in England. So frustrating for #nufc sometimes.
January 13, 2026 at 9:46 PM
ITV commentators not understanding that the offside is the gap between the #nufc keeper and Haaland, not the last defender. Eejuts!
January 13, 2026 at 9:31 PM
Big match for #nufc. Is anybody else wonder wtf is going on with our "dry January" in the transfer market, given we have a threadbare squad. On top of that, we now see Man City interested in talent we literallly gave away. But wait, why are other young players not coming through. Not Howe's focus!
January 13, 2026 at 2:46 PM
I am quietly thinking, #nufc looked in a lot better "shape" with a striker running into spaces and not dropping deep. No slight on Woltemade, he has done well, but it has confused a lot of players used to the previous guy we had. Long may this clarity continue!
January 5, 2026 at 3:14 PM
Now every game a fight for #nufc now. Why not before? Villa do not have a better squad than the Toon, but what they do have is that shithousery and core belief that comes through the manager into the team. Anyone can see that. Just as Newcastle don't. Howe is great, but he has failed in this dept.

Been thinking about how Brighton paid top dollar for Minteh based on all his stats. They are the experts at buying and selling and what stats show - think Caicedo. So I am left wondering, what are the stats that convinced the Mags that Elanga would peform and make #nufc better. Opinion I reckon.
December 31, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Man U are above us and Wolves got a point at Old Trafford. Shows how shit #nufc were there on Boxing Day. Not any better last night. Cracks being papered over al ower the place. We need 2/3 new signings to give a lot of the none-peformers a a kick up the arse. Or as they say, get yer finger oot.
December 31, 2025 at 2:32 PM
In all this about what #nufc need in Jan. We sold the wide man needed, Minteh, and we sold Anderson, the creativity we lack in the midfield. Both now arguably 50-100m pound players. Spent 100m on Elanga and Ramsey. What a mess this club created for itself over no real long-term recruitment strategy.

I don't understand the referees any more. #nufc seriously let down but shot themselves in the foot again. Barnes man...fuck off!
December 20, 2025 at 2:30 PM
How the fuck did Barnes miss that for #nufc. Jesus!
December 20, 2025 at 2:16 PM
In my view that was another pen #nufc should have had. James took the man before the ball. Pack of ....these lot, and the ref.
December 20, 2025 at 2:11 PM
#nufc It's always the hope that kills you. Are we back. Are we shite. Cannot defend a lead in any way.
December 20, 2025 at 2:04 PM
How many times is Murphy going to give the ball away for #nufc. Ridiculous inability to understand the play and a give an go.
December 20, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Anybody watching #nufc tonight....
December 17, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Just seen the Geordie Journos talking about the Howe drivel this morning on #nufc. Bang on! We were a mess, we have been bloody boring this season. In many games we are not physical enough to earn the right to play. Miley, Elanga, Gordon, Willock, Ramsey, Woltemade, Livramento. All soft as shite!
December 17, 2025 at 5:53 PM
We don't demand a team that wins, but we do want a team that tries and gives everything. Well I don't think that message was up on the wall in the #nufc dressing room. Honestly believe most of our playes have forgotten what guts and fight is, more thinking about the next ECL away day. Duck that!
December 15, 2025 at 9:52 AM
#nufc today was not the shithousing, aggressive, intense team we knew. It was an embarrassment. We have become like the teams we were sticking it to. Everything goes in cycles. This nufc now is bankrupt of ideas, craft...missing a heart, pride and passion for the project. Howe out...Elanga with him.
December 14, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Looked today like nobody in the #nufc team could give one about the match today. All the Sunderland players and a French manager knew how important to the region this fixture is. This is all down to Howe and how he motivates and sets the team up for the fans and the club. I no longer believe....
December 14, 2025 at 4:47 PM
#NUFC Intensity is not our identity. It is what got us to a place we don't know how to deal with, coached by someone who doesn't know either and now we are literally showing we are rudderless and clueless on the pitch. Even worse, that was spineless compared to the opposition who wanted it. Shite!
December 14, 2025 at 4:13 PM
I have never seen a team have four wingers, like #nufc, and literally none of them could get to the line by beating a man. Elanga is an absolute shocking waste of time and money. Cannot even pass a ball. The rest were just timid and lacked strength and will like most of the rest of the team. Shite!
