The GOP's tax cuts for their billionaire donors ballooned the deficit, so they're blaming the problem on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid — demanding cuts to programs that millions of Americans rely on. It's socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for everyone else.

A few thoughts:
1. Toadying to the GOP on civil rights and immigration issues needs to become an electoral cancer (put another way, Dems need to adopt the GOP’s “RINO” approach).
Acquiescence to the L. Riley Act needs to be understood as a giveaway to the ICE Gestapo (and punished accordingly).

- slash health care
- destroy popular programs

all represent electoral doom.
