Before I had mobility issues galore, I used to regularly jog to the synagogue and back. It’s a local landmark. I went to its annual food sale, and an associated, annual Jewish Film Festival. (Years ago, a local deli owner went out of business after making a snarky, antisemitic comment to its rabbi.)

Mississippi has the highest percentage of Black voting-age residents in the country. Then more educated suburban district voters have likely turned against Trump. They do not, however, completely outweigh rural and other evangelical White people. Alabama has a higher percentage of the latter.
