The way to understand the images of Venezuelans dancing in the streets is that when **it happens**, you'll be dancing too even though JD Vance will be the new president.

VP Rodriguez cut a deal. With Maduro gone she’ll deal to get sanctions relief. She’ll be publicly defiant, but that’s for show. She’s a pragmatist. Meanwhile, the awful Venezuelan regime will continue, just under new management.

Likely the biggest story in Missssippi sports history outside of the rise of Walter Payton, maybe. And the sort of game color commentators dream about. Hotty Toddy!!

My late take on the weird Netflix NFL halftime show with Snoop: He’s now akin to what Paul Lynde and Ruth Buzzi were in the ‘70s, in the sense of being in everything for no reason except playing it safe. Or late period Milton Burle, higher profile but …

Clarence Carter's "Back-Door Santa" is more or less about that, however, depending on how you view the reality of Santa.

I was informed by instructional design people a couple of years ago that sans fonts are best on screens, are easier for everyone to read on them. So I switched, realizing that I'm not related or in any debt to Times New Roman or Miriam Pro.
Hot take: Rubio is right about fonts but for the wrong reasons

If you can’t take Post Malone country whatever, or CBS segments with the loathsome Dana White, turn the Cowboys/Chiefs game off now and watch HBO’s”The Shuffle.”

I see the Saints just took a page out of the f’d up, ball-dropping Russ Holliday playbook.

Does anyone think that Mamdani promised to give Trump fabric and paint swatch books for all that new housing, and let him help with design choices? That would explain so much.

This brought to mind, for me, a Mr. Magoo-looking--bowler hat and all--fringe candidate in a New Orleans mayoral race whose answer to every debate question involved marijuana legalization.
this defies parody. also helps explain why Sec Bessent bizarrely blamed immigrants when confronted with a question about high beef prices

Yes, "1999" was released that year, but I only got deeply into it later. This one I still appreciate as much now as at any time, however. "Hello Baton Rouge. Won't you turn your radio down?"

I didn’t think that would have happened either. I do wonder if anyone made sure his book idea was killed, though. (She didn’t assassinate or murder anyone, but I thought about that line in the Nuzzi book & article and publishing ethics context yesterday.)
Yes! Immediately after we finished watching it, my husband there is no way Lucretia went to see Guiteau before he was executed and I replied absolutely.

We both wished it had been two episodes longer, so they could have gone into the politics in more detail.

Looking forward to reading the book.

I'm thinking that we need an entirely new class of people at the top. Or no top until the person-as-brand era is figured out.
