Whereas I prefer to expect the worst. Hope only leads to disappointment, as Newcastle demonstrated very aptly yesterday. Should have been home and dry at 2-0 but fucked it up again.

Oh it soaked through. Had to hose myself down, then get back to the hotel to get showered, changed and drench my soiled clothes.
It was very cute though, so it gets a pass.

We're relying on a random upturn in form based on nothing. I choose not to rely on that because it's just hope for hope's sake. When we actually start winning games, I'll view our chances as being better.

Mate it's just realistic. We've won a single Premier League match away from home all season and you're talking up the prospects of us going to places like Liverpool and doing something. It's just fantasy stuff based on how the team has been this season. Blind faith based on nothing.

But with fixtures taking place in a different order, comparison doesn't really matter.
We've got Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool all to play AWAY. We've taken only 5pts from those home fixtures so far.
And it just means we're relying once again on some sort of miracle run.
