Turns out the wonders of modern technology have meant you've had no respite from me at all.
I am at the airport.

You are almost free of me.

Until I connect to the plane wifi.

4-4 Man Utd vs Bournemouth!? Jesus 😂
December 15, 2025 at 10:12 PM
What annoys me most is that this change appears to be deliberate this season.

We've *chosen* to play without intensity and it boggles my fucking mind. #nufc
What has happened to the Newcastle United who played a high tempo pressing game where players would overlap and make lung busting runs?

Yesterday was not the first time we haven't turned up this season. Some individuals need to take a good look at themselves.

There needs to be some acknowledgement from the club and the media that these "high standards" simply haven't existed this season.

You can count on the fingers of one hand the number of performances in 25/26 in which we've shown anything like the same form & attitude as in previous seasons. #nufc

This is the issue for me. He's not showing he's got the solutions.

And claiming yesterday "wasn't as bad as Brentford or West Ham"- firstly, what the fuck's happened to our standards if we're using those games as a benchmark?

Secondly, it was the fucking derby! It makes it worse than those. #nufc
I woke up thinking about the derby, unfortunately. Hard for me to see EH surviving this season, at this rate. He seems as lost as we do as to why the performances have been so inconsistent...and that's not a good spot for the gaffer to be in.

IDK what (or who?) comes next for us

Match Of The Day has become one of those things I know about but which other people watch.
December 15, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Every time I block someone for saying I'm too negative, it only spurs me on to be even worse.

The increasingly terrible performances of Newcastle United also contribute.
You unfollowing me is only going to lead me to posting more and worse
December 15, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Howe talking about "physical fatigue" in his post-match press conference.

Fuck off, mate.

You've got the deepest squad you've ever had but you're using it terribly.
December 15, 2025 at 1:19 AM
Having said this, fucking loan him out in January.

(Elanga, not Joelinton.)
I remember thinking Joelinton was the worst footballer we'd ever signed. I'd have been happy to sell him for £4M, never mind £40M.

Then he changed position, and I changed my mind.

What I'm saying is, we have to hope that Anthony Elanga is just a frustrated goalkeeper. #nufc

20+ hours on a plane tomorrow is going to feel much better stewing on this result.
December 14, 2025 at 7:09 PM
I spent the early parts of the season referring to Anthony Elanga as Elangalmiron.

I now realise how wrong this was of me and I wish to apologise.

Miguel Almiron, I am so sorry. You did not deserve this disrespect. #nufc

I want to hear this from the manager.

Not a load of fucking flannel about "difficult game, we were good off the ball, big moment went against us". Call a spade a fucking spade.

Bruno gets it. Problem is, this is the 3rd or 4th time he's said this sort of stuff this season and nothing's changing.
December 14, 2025 at 7:03 PM
The problem #nufc have is that their big squad change came this summer and it's made them much worse...
I’m not sure I’m in the ‘Howe out’ camp just yet, but *every* coach has their lifespan with a given squad - you either change the squad, or change the coach.

In a lot of cases, it’s the latter (mainly because it’s cheaper for the club…) - only the very best get to oversee a squad change.

Am I alone in not really giving a shit about the Carabao Cup quarter-final?

Winning it doesn't compensate for losing today, nor for our league position in general.

And if we win, it's two more fixtures (more tiredness, apparently) against a much better team than us. #nufc
December 14, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Yeah when your manager is just lying like this, it's a worry.

The reason I hated Bruce was as much for the absolute bullshit he spouted as it was the terrible football.
The man is deluded and in denial.

HERE COME THE EXCUSES
December 14, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Eddie Howe:

"At half-time, we were relatively pleased."

Comments like that push me towards thinking he's done.

How the fuck can you be satisfied with that first-half performance unless you're now entirely happy with serving up any old dross? #nufc
December 14, 2025 at 5:14 PM
Took one of our best young players for a net £15M and turned him into an England international midfielder; lumbered us with a useless 4th choice keeper; sold us an ineffective winger for twice his market value.

Forest must lick their lips when the phone rings and it's the fucking dumbasses at #nufc
Too late for a refund, your statutory

"After we play Sunderland, we'll be above them."

That's what I was told on here.
December 14, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Summer hugely damaging.

That's on Andy Howe & Jamie Reuben, in my opinion.

Fucked up handling of the Isak situation: either get him gone early or refuse to countenance any sale.

Targeted the wrong players, either because they weren't interested (Ekitike) or weren't the right fit (Elanga) #nufc
Plenty of decent games since then, 4-1 vs Man Utd, 5-0 vs palace, 2-0 Chelsea, 4-1 Everton, begins, City at Home, but the mojo has left the group. Summer hugely damaging.

@editkev.football is the tactics guy but I feel like I'm right on this one
I was an advocate for Lewis Miley starting because he's a very good player and he's good at recycling possession.

But then our gameplan was to sit back and let Sunderland have the ball.

Why do you bench Joelinton for a possession-oriented midfielder if your tactic is to cede possession? #nufc
