I don't always have a choice, but I use my cocktail cube silicone mold at home. Those never fully melt and can be fished out easily -- I prefer aquafaba and lemon juice as most of the moisture. It also lets me use hot chickpeas to save time and wring a bit more aquafaba out of them

I don't know about cubes vs. ice water, but the other advantage is the cubes retain their shape and will force more air into the mixture. I use this when making banana "ice cream" to ensure it doesn't turn into paste.

Emulsions (including hummus) separate at high temperatures. If you're using a food processor instead of hand-whipping, there is no coolant and the blades heat up rapidly. Ice cubes serve as that coolant to keep the emulsion from breaking.

Emphasizing: you want to push that tab and pull the whole harness out. It's a plug connector from the accessible side, the side inside the fridge wall is the socket end.

Assuming you've powered off the fridge, those wiring harnesses are usually held in place with a plastic tab that's very close to the arm. I've used flathead screwdrivers to push it down and pull the harness off, but you might be able to use your fingers. It's the harness that pulls away first.

NSGL has operated as a training facility since 1911. Trump using it for this bullshit is inexcusable, but the Navy has maintained a freshwater presence basically since the canals were finished.
