I’ve been to federal prison for protest, actions against Trump, and I can tell you that external circumstances, directly influence how severe the charges will be and how severe the sentencing will be, and these things all happen months and sometimes years apart.

And that’s still true because they weren’t going to follow through with all the charges until the riots continue and the riots rose and fell and rose up again because they were talking about reducing the charges and releasing the other officers

Idk why people are interpreting this as "Portland Cops are actually doing OK in this instance". They insisted the victims were involved in a massive criminal investigation despite not being able to provide a single example of said organization operating in Portland. They are covering for ICE

Riots started within 24 hours and the police station was burned on the second day. It took three or four days for them to arrest the police officer. They only did that because of the riots and the burning of the police station.
