I honestly thought we'd get skunked on everything we wanted to see and, well, we didn't and saw this little guy.

We went somewhat off-season and there was so much wildlife it felt like a simulation after the twentieth deer wandered by. Saw my first condors that day, too, and *wept*.

Snackmas is by far my favorite holiday tradition that I've started with my family.

I may have cut way, way too much cheese for three people. It took up nearly half of the cutting board. The dogs insist that means we must share it. They're getting a teeny piece and some carrots, instead.

Bought hen of the woods mushrooms yesterday so I was *forced* (by my own brain) to make lettuce wraps.

Decided to do a little still life practice with the cactus I keep on hand to feed Luka.
