It's a busy week as we start on our @heritagecouncil.ie funded project to research into our unique Quin Tassie Collection, with expert help from conservator Lorna Barnes, art historian Dr Caroline McCaffrey-Howarth and @nationalgalleries.bsky.social curator Liz Louis.
#WorldHepatitisDay is a moment to reflect on the long history hepatitis with a selection of items from our collections that were used to treat liver disease.
For #WorldDrowningPreventionDay we have selected some items from our collections that tell the history of resuscitation methods, covering 200 years from 1777 to the 1970s!
