When I was in high school it was still a weird outsider thing, but my friends and I found a social loophole. At the time Wu-Tang was just becoming a thing, and we watched a ton of Shaw bros movies, and segued that into anime. Lots of FotNS, Ninja Scroll, Berserk, etc. It was cool by association.

I stopped it halfway through the episode to make sure those end credits weren't coming. I was gassssed when he pops up and says, "Exchange."

I would have worn the shit out of that.
