"Something I dont think healthy people will ever get is how utterly overwhelming it is to have so many things go wrong in your body at once, and the subsequent emotional & mental toll this takes. Im so beyond exhausted, I wish someone could carry the weight for a while." Something a lot of non chronically ill people don't understand is that we don't wait for zero symptoms to do things. We just wait until it's manageable enough to get to do those things. Even in those situations, we tend to overly push ourselves and need to recover afterwards. "If you see someone accepting the fact that they're chronically ill/disabled, I can promise you it's not because they're lazy, negative, etc. It's because acceptance means moving in and living the life you have without waiting for a miracle that may never come."

Thank goodness for books, my saving grace. I’m coming out of a nearly two month flare of elevated neurological symptoms. It’s amazing how relieving it is to be back near my neutral pain zone. Which is still extremely restricting.
