I get vertigo in MRI’s. So every time I find a spot to stare at so I can tell nothing is spinning. Then I chant my MRI mantra in my mind “It’s not moving/You’re okay/Don’t throw up.” If I didn’t have that? I’d play the abc game with myself. Pick a topic and name something related for each letter.

Hooray for the library!! I’m extremely fortunate to have access to several libraries in my area. But I still purchase a lot of digital books since I mostly read indie authors.

That’s exactly how I was. Because surely it would get better, right? Right?! That’s why I made it my goal! I still keep track of my read amount. But I don’t have a threshold to met anymore. That also helps allow me to dnf. No more sunk cost fallacy.

I just dnf’d two in a row. Rather rude to numeric goals. Fortunately, my goal this year was to DNF more books.

I already use pen & paper. But that’s on a smaller scale & I don’t want to expand it. Easily searchable, as mentioned already, is v important to me. Also, carrying a physical journal is not possible throughout the day. #journal #journaling
