There are some amazing photos - I always thought you had to have dark skies to see auroras, but my daughters just walked out of their suburban homes (Minnesota and Ohio in the USA) and got some great photos. Meanwhile, in Atlanta GA :

This is completely anecdotal, but my daughter has been giving my granddaughter tiny bits of all the common allergens (with a major dose of dog hair & dander) since she started eating food. Peanut butter toast and whole milk are 2 of her favorites.

Today in flabbergasted, a parent complained to teacher and our spelling bee coordinator that the 6th grade words were inappropriate and her child would not be learning them. Reader, it’s the official Scripps National Spelling Bee list we purchased.

Just grabbed this from a neighbor’s @littlefreelibrary.bsky.social so I can read it an put it in my #LFL. Probably won’t add it to my K-8 #schoollibrary but you never know! Some #students might see themselves in it.

I did last summer - I was overwhelmed and started crying just because I was there. The shelves were then mostly empty because the books were being cleaned.
