🧵 Gotta love how those that are complicit to the atrocities this regime is doing, are failing to cover it up! Great job, real journalists! Great job, those that find ways to still share the truth.

We all need to stand up against this regime in every way possible. “State ran media” should never have a place in the US.
This has been made available, so for purposes of commenting on Bari Weiss's decision to spike the story, here's a live-post of that segment.

It begins with a "you may recall" summary of the deportation to el Salvador. Describes the admin's claim that it could deport the men without due process

THREAD: It was supposed to be a routine surgery. So when the doctor stepped out, Sandra Parker wasn’t sure she heard right.

Her husband’s heart couldn’t have stopped for more than 5 or 6 minutes, the doctor was saying.

“That’s not a lot of time,” Mrs. Parker thought. “Is it?”

The question is: WHO controls it & for what purpose?

Does anyone believe that the richest people on Earth are investing hundreds of billions in AI to improve life for ordinary people, eliminate poverty & solve global warming?

I doubt it.

Don Lupe shared that one detained man who volunteered to be deported due to unbearable conditions had to wait months.

“This is a business and it is all about money,” Don Lupe said. “There are a lot of things that are inhumane. It is more beneficial for [the business] for him to be in prison.”
After 27 years in the U.S., Don Lupe was detained by ICE at his New Jersey workplace. His family and community fought to bring him home. His story shows the quiet, devastating toll these detentions take on families, and the growing rise of raids at NJ bonded warehouses. @documentedny.bsky.social

This church is vile (as many are as they continue time and time again to cover up for abusers). But even more so, the parents who did not stand up for their children against the abusers. If you bring them into this world, it is your duty to provide and protect them. They all failed these children.
