Agreed. Love his horror stuff. Even ended up quite liking that weird four-part thing he did that started with the caravan park. But this one is hard work.

I'm glad it's not just me. I might be DNF'ing it. It feels like he tried to write a Millennium novel and tried to repurpose it as original IP. For some reason I never read Tigerman, even though I have a copy on the shelf. Really enjoying it. Should finish it this evening.
