These friends, #AfghansIKnow, risked their lives providing base support logistics because they supported America's mission against the Taliban. After the Taliban attacked us, killing many and wounding 90, they were undaunted and walked through the wreckage to keep up the fight.

I see this misconception over and over:
"Const. promises due process for 'citizens' and not everyone."
Here's the 5th Amendment. Many times elsewhere in the Const. the framers specified something applied only to "citizens."
See if that's the case for due proc:

Outside court, an Afghan interpreter said that he used to fear getting snagged by the Taliban. Now he fears it by ICE, even though he's here fully legally. Unfortunately, that's been happening. It's outrageous.

Trump admin ended today TPS protections for Afghans, claiming, laughably, that Afg better now while ignoring the fact of Taliban retribution. Latest in the shameful betrayal of our allies. It could turn around if enough of the public got involved against it. Ask me how.

Our founders were so opposed to unchecked executive power that they risked everything to replace it with a republic with three self-checking branches.
Will we keep it? Or will we go the Weimar way and thus, predictably, self-destruct?
I have never been in more doubt.
