…the research I’ve done indicates the health insurance sector earned over $9 billion in profits and apparently 2024 wasn’t a banner year because it was much more in 2023. Meaning…lobbyists are working overtime to get those profits back up.

I’m trying to wrap my head around this. To me, from a historical preservation standpoint, the plan to “archive and store” the contents of the east wing should have been announced in JULY! So…those of us concerned about the significance of the art could be assured our history was not bulldozed.

I’m fostering the cutest batch of kittens “The Nuts”. Introducing Chestnut (Chesty), Pecan (Pigpen), Walnut (Wally) and Acorn (Achy). Wally is probably the most beautiful…a downy peach colored coat. Highly suggest fostering…it has eased my soul a bit.

I honestly think DJT is the biggest deplorable in the basket of deplorables, but I’ll throw him a bone. Health information should be private. In fact, we have a huge organization that should be able to defend everyone’s right to privacy…but they can’t because they are too concerned about the files.

We just finished our #NoKingsDay demonstration across the street from Texas A&M.
For a small Texas town in a huge red state, I was so pleased to see so many like minded people there!

I am one of those that lost my job in June. I have spent several weeks feeling sorry for myself. BUT the insult to that injury? Watching America burn down around me and I AM now the hysterical Lib that has been “owned” and America is great again?
