We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are from marginalised groups.

Most of the posts are U.K. based and require the right to work in the U.K. The CPA youth coordinator role is an exception to this - see application packs for more details.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵

Men in balaclavas set fire to a mosque in East Sussex last night. It's only appearing on the BBC's local coverage, rather than its main national headlines, despite coming just a week after the (also under-reported) firebombing of an asylum hotel in London last week

On reports the Home Secretary plans to grant police more powers to prevent ‘repeated protests’, Greenpeace UK:

“Protest works because it is repetitive. If police had told the Suffragettes or civil rights activists ‘you’ve made your point,’ they would never have won the victories we all enjoy today"

Here is the deal:

Capitalism wants you to manage your feelings, suppress them during the work day - and then we feel dysregulated and unsettled (or worse) when they return to us at force at night - and then we try to escape them.

There are other ways to consider our emotional response

This starts next week - plenty of seats open - including 3 free seats.

From a past participant:
“Martha offers a little toolbox: ways to notice messages from our emotions that we’ve been habitually overlooking, and strategies for how to listen to those messages...”

Yes, all fair points, though I see it differently myself. I think the editorial line is pro climate, and I find them clear about their rationale for this wrt OCC policy. And I think the Oxford situation on transport has been more than just divisive - in their position I would have safety concerns.
