If it were possible to have one, Linus would be my cartoon crush.
Morning, glories. Who's writing what today? Memoir, grocery list, short story, rant?

I'm working on my syllabus for a fiction writing workshop I'll be teaching at Johns Hopkins. It's fun to think thru what will inspire & move writers forward in their work.

So sad to see #DavidLynch disappear from this world. I was lucky emoigh to interview him around 10 years ago and he was a true gent - charmng, courteous and respectful. We spoke about transcendental meditation, which we both practised, and he was lovely. RIP David Lynch.

25 years since ' Midnite Vultures' was released. I remember how this album blew me away, especially after the equally brilliant but far more introspective 'Mutations'. Th'at's what I loved about Beck - always genre-hopping, always suprrising.
