First training in the books! I spent this past weekend attending my first official #ElectedOfficialsTraining, hosted by the #AssociationOfWashingtonCities. It was incredibly informative and I learned a ton about the responsibilities, governance, and challenges facing city leadership!

Tues we got to go watch the #Recount in person. Was amazing to see how fast it was! Literally took longer to sign in (& longer to print the report at the end!) than it took to do the recount. 😄 Kudos to the #SpokaneCountyElections team for having such a tight process!

Counting is finally done!
The results are in: I finished with 1,079 votes to Tim Steiner's 1,070, along with 6 write-ins. With such a narrow 9 vote win, state laws dictate this goes to an automatic machine recount which will take place next Tuesday for recertification next Wednesday.
