anyway, yes re the implicit pressure to help your kid develop object permanence! thank god she’s going to this particular daycare or she’d never understand occlusion!

yeah! the blurbs are often about object permanence even though this classroom is for 1.5-3yos. my working theory is either (1) the author took Dev Psych and wants to flex, or (2) the author knows parents will feel good/superior because their toddler certainly has obj permanence (pretty smart tbh).
