Poor baby girl. We picked her up from boarding Saturday evening and by this morning her eye was nearly swollen shut. The vet gave her lots of snuggles and apologies for the eye drops and cone of shame. She's already looking better but I think this picture depicts the misery well.

Repairs made on well loved child leggings. These were my eldest daughter's favorite pair and now my youngest can fit into them. Today I reinforced the crotch where things were weak and added hearts to the ripped knees.

One of my spouse and I's fav weekend hobbies is to estate sale hop. We typically keep a running list of things we hope to find or upgrade. One of those things is weird art for the downstairs half bath, today I found a hanging King Henry VIII. I think he fits right in!

I felt well enough to finish mending my partner's jeans today with the colors of thread they picked. I used a reusable stencil to trace the pattern on to peel and stick wash away interfacing. I'm still practicing, but I'm proud of my efforts. The patch fabric is salvage I thrifted.

I just finished my second book of the year. I'll finish a couple more books on my TBR but I'll definitely pick up the next book in this series! This is setting up to be personal destiny sort of coming of age series, and I enjoy a good story on self-discovery!
