Ex-lawyer, game designer, and trans woman (but not in a cool way)
Even the PI stories that understand this often take the form of "OK, so MOSTLY I investigate infidelity, BUT NOT THIS TIME...."

During the brief period where I was spending significant time on AITA, a lot of the traffic was fake stories in the genres "aren't women unreasonable?" and "aren't trans people unreasonable?". And then a bunch of young men would cheer the OP on. I think that was bad for everyone.

By my read of the memo, this nonsense kicks in "If a faculty member believes a particular material or topic described above is implicated". That being (more or less) race, gender, and sexuality. So long as you uncritically teach only white straight male perspectives...no hassle!

I think that's a very bold claim that requires specifics? Harris was running in a very unfavorable environment and significantly overperformed in competitive states. If moving right could have shifted the 2024 election....it should be able to shift most national elections. I'm skeptical personally.

I'll admit, despite knowing who he is and finding him VERY sexy in Wicked...I did not recognize him on the cover in mer-mode. How dare People make me read?

I think this is a reasonable guess at analysis from Conde Nast's perspective. Still sucks from the perspective of wanting good political journalists to have jobs though! Those folks made great use of those final years of a dying magazine.

Admittedly, the turn around time here is impressively short even for the more 'aspirational' peace prizes.

She just wanted compromise. Some trans women lose their children, others get to continually grift.

Middle ground of SHE gets treated as a human being, but other trans folks don't.

It's a very 'list the old man first' show.
