Not so much failing to get them as so much using them up constantly because of the amount of fights that rely on multiple waves/add ons and forcing grinds to regain them for successive attempts. Add that to the run backs and it just feels like pointless busywork

I think my personal problem with that is the tools require recharging on limited materials, so it’s forcing long stretches of grinding in between longer boss attempts/runbacks. Takes a lot of the wind out of my sails

I think my biggest condemnation of Silksong (being at the end of Act2/Start of Act3) is that I’m struggling to have…fun? Every design choice in the game seems inherently mean spirited. I’ve had maybe one moment of real enjoyment (The Cog Dancers) out of 30+ hours gameplay and that’s just a shame.
