Frankly, I think we created enough overall to win the game but a lot of our creativity is limited to spamming crosses, which do not usually lead to high-quality chances. Today, Jorginho was excellent at finding the players in space/runners into the box from the half-spaces. We need more of that.

This article was written in December 2020 when Arsenal were in 15th place. Given Manchester United are entering 2025 in 14th place, only 7 points above relegation, should we expect an article for them too? @matt-law-dt.bsky.social

Totally understand why people would be annoyed with the misses but this has been much more ‘normal’ Gabriel Jesus tonight. He’s never been a deadly finisher, involvement is his key marker and there’s been a lot of that tonight. Less looking totally lost and more buzzing around.
