Atlanta DSA, among other things

All but ONE ATL Council-member just voted to completely overhaul the Inspector General’s Office. Wild to watch this happen while Dems across the country criticize similarly antidemocratic, authoritarian actions from the Trump/Musk administration. Elites protect elites — not us.

GA Republicans and TWO Democrats have signed on to a State Senate bill to ban trans healthcare on state insurance plans. This will be disastrous for many state employees — including LGBTQ+ university system and public school workers. We need to fight this!

if AOC makes a bad vote but brings in a dozen baby organizers whose politics end up tracking to her left that is a massive win for the organization. the whole fucking point of socialism is that it is a mass movement, AOC is a means to an end and thank god at least some of our chapters get that

@ahsheek.bsky.social's article brilliantly captures the importance of building DSA in this moment of rising fascism. What it utterly fails to capture is just how *bad* Daniel Lubetzky is on Shark Tank.

He's by far the lamest shark. An apologist for capitalism and entrepreneurial philanthropy.
