Being for a salary cap is limiting what the actual WORKERS(players) get and thus is anti-labor and very silly. Every team could spend enough to be in the top 10 easily, stop carrying water for billionaires. If the richest people(owners) say it's necessary for them, it's probably a bad thing

Difference being that revenue sharing exists in baseball and like 40% of the revenue from the top teams go to the other teams. Also the fact that the lowest spending teams actually have quite large markets that could accommodate spending, like Oakland(RIP), Denver, Miami, Chicago etc

But Kendrick is old and maybe he just wants to win a WS before he goes. Everyone I trust here in the desert is still hesitant to believe any team ponies up for the best 2B in MLB on a good deal that's like 1/3 deferred, but idk.

It'd be a very Ken Kendrick move. Even if the Snakes move Ketel, signing Bregman they end up with a payroll close to last year's record level. Ken & CEO Derrick Hall both said payroll would go down this year and the bullpen is SO BAD can't imagine they'd be able to plug it all with Bregman
