I’m going to make a concerted effort to open BlueSky instead of Twitter whenever I need to waste 10-15 minutes. Sucks to admit, but I think I might’ve gotten addicted to the latter, which was (mostly) fine when it wasn’t the way it is now. It beats prior addictions I’ve had, but it’s still no good!

Seriously though! The way they changed how trending things worked on Twitter was what finally got me to try this out, & aside from the content being more in-line with my interests and values (to put it mildly), the navigability really makes me think this’ll become a popular platform 💛

Here’s one I snagged last night! Even though it’s not the best picture quality, something about the clouds, especially how they’re lit, stuck me as being quite surreal!

Oh, I didn’t see the video icon before, so lemme post Eleanor doing her “raise the roof” trick. It’s pretty dang cute! It’s her way of asking for pets, or treats (usually the latter, if I’m being honest 😹)

Forgetting your headphones at home is the modern equivalent of leaving your sword behind in medieval times.
