It’s complicated, but someone from the Ptolemaic Dynasty is about as Egyptian as I am Native American. I may have some native blood in my family, but not enough to be able to claim that is part of my heritage. Similarly, Cleopatra didn’t really share the blood and heritage as the Pharaohs.

Yeah, I don’t see Toyota suddenly deciding to bring back the non-hybrid RAV4s and Camrys because of this. When given a choice, most customers chose to spend d bit more for the hybrids because they simply drove better. A hybrid Camry hauls ass when you put the pedal down.

Meanwhile, Toyota is not even making the non-hybrid of the RAV4 in 2026 because most people prefer the hybrid because the gas mileage is better and the electric motors make it more fun to drive than the pure ICE version (which feels sluggish by comparison).

I went from a 2005 Corolla to a 2025 RAV4 Hybrid and I get the appeal of crossovers after owning one for a while.
The ride height is better, and it is easier to get in and out of a crossover height SUV than a more low riding vehicle.
Loading cargo like groceries is also easier as well.

I hate to say it, but my M2 MacBook Air is a really good laptop. It’s basically a smartphone under the hood, but it works well.

I’m honestly glad Paramount is getting this out of their system. They’ve been threatening to make a Starfleet Academy show for decades. At least this one has an interesting 32nd century angle instead of following around young Kirk.

Since it is apparently okay to shoot unarmed boats now, I feel like some Russian oligarchs need to have their yachts taken out by Exocet missiles while they and their families are onboard.
