It's a time commitment. Square Enix wasn't joking when they said it would take upwards of 100 hours.

After 100+ hours, I beat Octopath Traveler 0.
+ Great soundtrack
+ Addictive turn based battle system
+ Complex (and dark) story with plenty of plot twists
+ Great villains
It's a must play for any Octopath Traveler fan and might be my favorite game this year.
