in seattle, we have overlay districts where buildings are designed to accommodate pedestrians and have storefronts.
most of these streets are massive stroads bisecting neighborhoods. some are actual highways.

@lukewanderer.bsky.social We just did an air-source heat pump/hybrid HE furnace. The first time it used the gas this season was this morning, and I think I need to go tick the switchover temp down some. So far so good tho!
