This is just amateurish buffoonery that confirms this Administration’s foreign policy is alternatively Russian-directed and totally directionless. Such an embarrassment. Our enemies delight.

It's much simpler than that. The Boy Scouts aren't maximally cruel to trans kids and so Republicans believe it should be destroyed.

I'm tired of the stereotype of gamers sitting around all day eating doritos and drinking mountain dew. It's reductive and insulting. There's a broad variety of bullshit food and beverages we eat all day, and it's time to acknowledge that.

It’ll be both. Trump’s entire lifelong legal strategy has been do whatever takes longest and wastes the most money for other people.
2/ The dismissal is without prejudice, meaning the gov’t *could* refine the charges. But because the statute of limitations has run here, that’s complicated. The gov’t may try it under a savings provision, appeal Judge Currie’s order or both.

All this. It’s exhausting.

It’s weird to see everyone suddenly discovering a thing I thought we all knew was true for the last nine years.

Great thread.
Isn't it so weird to deeply know in your bones something obvious with no equivocation, for years and years, and then to one day see articles about people wondering if maybe the incredibly obvious thing you've known this whole time might be happening, as if the media is discovering it now??

The idea that an enlisted member doesn't know what premeditated murder, torture, violation of treatment of detainees means is saying they have zero respect for the troops.
BLITZER: I want to be precise. Should members of the US military obey clearly illegal orders?

McCLAIN: You're asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal. That's a pretty slippery slope. Follow your commander in chief. That's the oath that you took

(Not a no!)

Republicans like @RepLisaMcClain now openly say the military should ignore their oath to the constitution, and follow Trump no matter what.

I have always done that but that's my ADD. Now it's a tricky game of is it ADD, Covid, weed, or menopause. Lol
The bit where I'm turning into my mom, who would put her keys down and then immediately search the house for her keys.

Nobody in her family had dementia or anything; she just had the absolute worst memory for details, and it did not improve with age.
Do people get smarter after menopause? I can't be this dumb for the rest of my life 😩

oh I have add life hack for this exact scenario:

you just need to repeat the thing you're looking for as you move from room to room. As soon as you leave a room you forget what you were looking for. So just walk through your house saying "keys keys keys keys keys keys"
I like the days when I walk to another room and instantly ask: The fuck did I come in here for?🙄😂
