Amazes me that people can misremember the death of a kid (who they knew quite well) to that degree. Particularly as she was actually killed on school premises, during the school day, in front of about 40 other kids.

Every year around the anniversary of the October 87 storms, a bunch of people I went to school with invariably say something on social media about how well they remember it because a girl in the year above us was killed. Except she wasn’t. She was a casualty of the Gorden Kaye Storm of 1990.
