Have had some real shit luck with pets lately. Lucifer has fractured his femural joint neck. The ball part of his “ball and socket” joint. He has surgery Thursday to have the ball removed and his femur smoothed out. It’s a common break apparently but that means his leg won’t be socketed anymore.

Being on a GLP1 for blood sugar suddenly makes Continental breakfast not feel so sad. I will have to wander out to find a good cup of coffee however.

The nurses at Orlando Health Regional Medical Center are gd hero’s. On top of all the other amazing care I’ve already received, it’s not even 6am yet and they brought me coffee. Way to look out for us early risers!

Said goodbye to my eldest pup, Amelia Pond, last night. She was my neurotic mess of a girl, who took 2 kinds of anxiety drugs and all the GI boosters you could find to get through storm season, but she was sweet and loving as dogs come. No more fear and no more upset belly Pond. Rest well babygirl.

Woke up feeling sad today. Even went back to bed which I never do, rather then play video games. Got back up and decided to use our Disney passes that we never use enough. A day in the park might just be what the doctor ordered…..

The milkweed was successful this year. Already have at least 2 Monarch caterpillars on each plant!

Lucifer’s first Christmas so we decided to start with just the tree, sans ornaments for the time being. I have already had to break out the Velcro strips and start securing wires in a bunch of places. Lil’ man is as curious and mischievous as a cat gets.
