Does anyone else worry having outside cameras on your home just means that one day you will click on the app to see what it just recorded, only to witness someone breaking into your home to harm your loved ones who are there? Like just by looking you will cause it to happen? Just me?

And now to go in the other direction from my previous post....I am always somewhat depressed when I finish a game, especially one I have loved and immersed myself into for weeks or more at a time. Both a sense of loss and feeling lost at the same time. What now?

Have just completed Abiotic Factor and what a wild couple of weeks it’s been. Deep Field Games really knocked it put of the park with this gem. If you like survival horror, Half-life vibes or pets then I recommend you check this one out. Also bravo to any team that put pet pictures in the credits!

My partner and I both are on GLP1’s so food, being able to eat and enjoy it, can be hit or miss on any given day. Cooking a big Thanksgiving meal could be a total waste of time for the day. So instead we have decided to cook and eat one dish a day, starting with our turkey dressing.

Have had some real shit luck with pets lately. Lucifer has fractured his femural joint neck. The ball part of his “ball and socket” joint. He has surgery Thursday to have the ball removed and his femur smoothed out. It’s a common break apparently but that means his leg won’t be socketed anymore.

Can I catch a fucking break for once? In the last months time, I’ve lost a dog to age/cancer, had to undergo surgery to have my thyroid removed with some oddball side effects, had some pretty big changes at work and now last night my kitty injured his back leg and needs to see the vet this week. Fak

Signs you have crossed the "old" threshold: 3 day trip where all you have to do is fly to another city and then sit in a conference room with like minded professionals discussing things you are passionate about and eat great food then fly home, and then spend 3 more days being wrecked and resting.

You ever want to learn what an oblivious slob that you are, try to pack for a business trip (if the clothes you wear to work are your normal everyday clothes) and quickly realize that most of your shirts have grease stains (from cooking) or tears (from pets) and that these are yer everyday clothes.

Its a pretty surreal feeling to find out that the organ (gland) that they just removed from your body had a cancer tumor in it and then to be told that no other treatment or tests are necessary. We so often hear the horror stories about cancer that it’s hard to not keep thinking “what if it spread”?
