If you started a job making minimum wage and all of your pay increases are COLA (cost of living adjustments), you are still making minimum wage.
A reminder that if the minimum wage had kept pace with worker productivity gains since the 1960s, it would now be nearly $26 an hour.

Rumors of the automobile tariffs upped the timeline for a new truck purchase from August to last week. Even if the tariffs never materialize, I’m glad we made the purchase when we did. The previous truck was having transmission issues.
