Thank you, Dr Goodall, for your life well-lived. If you want to know more about her early career curl up with “In the Shadow of Man”. Today we recognize tool use across the animal kingdom—Goodall first had to convince us our nearest-living relative used tools while she also shattered gender barriers

Teachers are reportedly spending an average of $895 out-of-pocket on school supplies — a nearly 50% increase since 2015.

Is there a “teacher shortage,” or a shortage of jobs that treat educators with the dignity, support, and pay they deserve? https://youtu.be/AbBbhoHRPSU?feature=shared

His attacks on higher education will hurt us all.

Cost to operate public housing for D.C.'s entire homeless population: $169,226 per day.

It’s about priorities.

We've got 35 sets of these posters left.

This project came from my evergreen frustration with our important messages getting trapped on social media algorithms.

Good stuff for posting on your local community bulletin board, classroom, office door, etc!
