screenshot of fire emblem three houses. sylvain and ingrid are on weeding duty. sylvain’s dialogue says: “weeds have it tough. they sprout then get ripped right out of the ground. i’ll do my best to be gentle.”

i can never tell if he's so dead serious or being dryly funny but tbh i think it's both

i love the post timeskip one especially fjdndjksks 😭

i also love that when you go up to him he's muttering something about wanting to tear the inhuman monsters responsible for remire limb from limb and then he's like oh what did you want sorry? something about a dance?
reflektion.bsky.social
oh it’s a completely nonsensical choice strategy wise but it does result in some of the funniest dialogue in the game. i imagine they just want to see him jingle
reflektion.bsky.social
just scrolled past a screenshot of it and was reminded that dimitri says “just know that you have damned us all” if you pick him for the white heron cup lmao 😭

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

(pretty significant patho spoilers lol idk if any of you care about that but warning anyway) this kind of gets me... he's my responsibility...
tragedian: oh! then i apologize profusely... you are definitely not a doll, but that seems to be unhelpful for our hero now. he is humiliated, crushed, but most importantly he is deprived of the power that we all hoped for. by the way, are you still willing to take responsibility for him?

bachelor: yes, he is my responsibility. i will stay with him to the very end. his words shall be my words. his deeds shall be my deeds.

sometimes i feel bad for interacting w all the patho writers on here as a fandom account. hopefully they see my pfp and gather 1) that i enjoy their work and 2) that they should not look at my posts

This is a good post about its specific subject and a great post about how to do anything cool on game production deadlines without having it get cut (being very intentional about where you drop the quality bar)

Six years ago, I wrote most of the Tragedian dialogue for Pathologic 2 in iambic pentameter. I'm back now doing the same for Pathologic 3. I figured it was helpful to write a guide on *how* I did it – in case I get hit by a bus and the team has to carry on without me.

every time i post something pretty stupid on here i hope you’re all like “ohhhh i bet she just came from staring unsuccessfully at a wip for a while and is doing this to cope.” and then you feel sorry for me<3

it’s crazy that if you say “what if a bug was just absolutely cool as fuck” you get hornet silksong… i imagine if i lived in bug world i would still think this
reflektion.bsky.social
it’s so strange i cannot even imagine anything lower stakes than how someone chooses to play a video game!! no one is making you watch this!!
reflektion.bsky.social
it’s sooooo bizarre to me. like the guy i’m talking about here is VERY good at games but still clowns on himself when he does badly. then people in chat are legitimately mad at him for missing some little thing on the map or not finding a secret immediately ??? like where does this energy come from?

beatrice. not that there are any tourists here

What’s the word where you’re from that, when pronounced exactly as it looks, identifies a tourist immediately?

sometimes i think about getting into streaming or at least playing around with it but then i’ll be watching one of my fav streamers, who is nice and inoffensive and very good at gaming, and see his chat get SO hostile for NO REASON and i’m like man i just could not handle that

this is a kind of perverse fandom, where haters follow the every utterance of the sin-eater and broadcast it as if it is critical breaking news. some of them become obsessed with the details of the sin-eater's personal life, or become experts on their personal and professional history.

Social media is very effective at creating sin-eaters. A sin-eater is different from an ephemeral main-character. It's a recurring "well would you look at that guy" person you see screenshotted on your feed constantly, who is meant to stand in for the evils of some larger group you dislike

i'll block if they're especially egregious but otherwise if they genuinely want to follow my video game yaoi account who am i to stop them
