I'm an untrained artist designing merch that draws on niche pop culture mashups for queer pride, nerd humor, and agitprop for a better world being possible. This thread includes a sampling of my work, which you can find on stickers and shirts, pins, prints, and patches at willburrows.art/shop
A vinyl sticker featuring a drawing of Garak making jazz hands in front of a rainbow, overlaid with the text, "Friend of Garak" in DS9 title fonts. A poster featuring a drawing of Miles O'Brien teaching Rom and Leeta about unions over Guinness and snail juice in Quark's Bar. Above, it says "The boss needs you, you don't need them!" and below it says "Labor is entitled to all it creates." A gold Starfleet delta insignia with the three arrows symbol in black enamel in the center, and a high gloss surface. An embroidered patch featuring Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors growing in a can that says "compost the rich."

Noem says they arrested "the girlfriend of one of the founders of Antifa." You probably don't know her, though; she goes to a different school.

lest anyone think the girlfriend line was a hilarious joke I concocted...

With all due respect, anyone who's not a philistine knows Iggy Pop first and foremost as Belvedere Rickettes from the 1990 John Waters film Cry-Baby.

You gotta ask which one is more disturbing to the established order. That's always the worse one, even when it's obviously not.

Yeah I think homophobia is just a different manifestation of misogyny

The answer to an almost 90 year old mystery is what, under an FBI agent's desk somewhere?

*shaking a stick at the sky* MF this is not the time to take Dolly Parton. Read the room.

Have they produced it or is it classified? Because it can't be both.

It and the S1 theme are both very catchy and potential earworms, but to me "Do You Wanna Taste It" is annoying, whereas "Oh Lord" is genuinely a banger. My partner finds them both annoying though and evidently there are people who actually like the S1 intro.
reforest-kelley.bsky.social
The big difference is that "Oh Lord" was written specifically for the singer's son, whereas "Lean on Me" is a paean to mutual aid.
reforest-kelley.bsky.social
Not even saying it doesn't work! Like they're very different artists but the songs in question - Foxy Shazam's "Oh Lord" (Peacemaker S2 theme) and Withers' "Lean on Me" - have thematic similarities in offering help to someone in need.

A year from now it's gonna be in multiple Democrats' campaign ads

My Adderall's worn off and now I have Foxy Shazam and Bill Withers both stuck in my head at the same time

I'm so grateful for how y'all have responded to this shirt design! I'm already out of many sizes; I have a small, preliminary re-stock on the way, and I'm right now putting together another order with the print shop. If you'd like to reserve one they'll ship in about 3-4 weeks. willburrows.art/shop

Trekkies Against Fascism shirts are stocked! So far I've sent out 50 of these to customers in four countries - a few have already been delivered. I still have at least one of almost every available size ready to ship right away. Other sizes may be purchased on backorder.

A black t-shirt with white text that reads "Trekkies against fascism" in classic Star Trek font. The second "a" in "against" is replaced by a Starfleet insignia in red spray paint. A black tank top with the same "Trekkies against fascism" logo

I mean, the track record for cops turning against other cops who make them look bad is not good

IT'S T-SHIRT PRESALE TIME AGAIN!
I have dozens of sizes of t-shirts and tank tops on hand to ship right away, but I have too many designs now to be able to keep everything in stock. Sizes on backorder will ship in 4-5 weeks. Visit willburrows.art/shop and get your future self a little treat.
A black t-shirt featuring an image of Garak making jazz hands and smirking. Behind him is a rainbow, and in front is text that reads "Friend of Garak" in DS9 title fonts. A black t-shirt featuring an image of Jadzia Dax in front of a trans pride flag, overlaid with text that says "Friend of Dax." A black t-shirt with an image of Captain Kirk from Star Trek TOS. His shirt is ripped across the chest, revealing top surgery scars. Text reads: James No LGB without the T Kirk. He's on a desert planet with a large moon and a retro starscape in the background, and he's holding a phaser. A black t-shirt featuring an image of a horga'hn and a distinctive Deep Space Nine mug, with text that says "Raktajino Powered Jamaharon Machine" in magenta letters.
