I am fascinated by the conversations around the murder of the UHC CEO. Organizations are responding by removing executive’s portraits from their sites. Maybe someone should tell them about the rest of the internet.

We don't learn from history because we haven't experienced those events, and humans don't learn well from being told things, we have to experience them for ourselves. History is the parent telling their kid not to make the same mistakes; humanity is the kid certain that their parent knows nothing.
I’ve been thinking about how history seems to be repeating itself, in its worst ways. Fascism, mysogyny and hate all seem to be on the rise, around the world. I wish we’d learn from history and try not to repeat ourselves.

Right? And add to that we contribute to their tax deduction of charitable donations instead of my own. I’d rather buy food and give it to a food bank. Or make a donation directly to the food bank
