The veil is definitely thinning....I just saw Lulu come through the kitchen three times. It's not the same as being able to hold her, but I'll take whatever she can give.

RIP Lulu...March 1, 2011 - September 8, 2025. My sweet girl is gone. After doing so amazing with so many health issues including hearts disease, this morning she started having seizures they couldn't help her with. I love my boys, but I don't know what I'm going to do without her.

Today's news upset and scared me. I had flashbacks to the Gulf War when my then boyfriend was deployed. At the time I was glued to the television, often not sleeping from beginning to end. I had to step away and picked up a puzzle that seemed so idyllic and a place I wish I could be at now.

Who says cats don't have facial expressions....I just went to the cupboard where both my and the cats treats are. I was getting myself a few pretzels....Ollie saw that and the totally forlorn look on his little face when I didn't take out treats for him was just so sad. Of course he got some.

Poor Lulu, she not only gets meds from me 2X a day, but OC tattles on her when she tries to come down the stairs by herself. She's blind but gets along just fine & being a tortie she has major toritude & NOTHING gets in the way of where she wants to go, not even her loving brother.

Finished my latest puzzle today -- when I tried to take a picture of it Ollie did his best to photo bomb it. Admittedly, he DID help me finish it mainly by returning the piece he took at hid in his cat tree the other day.
