Great sequel! I will continue to read the series but gotta wait for the new editions of The Last Colony and Zoe's Tale (those covers are awesome)

So, what should I pick up in between?

This is your daily reminder not to blindly trust whatever a GenAI model gives you...

While these models may have incredible features they are still Language Models...

Now that federal science agencies are in disarray, and our media ecosystems and social media platforms mostly peddle hate and disinformation, what are the best, most trusted sources of accurate information today?

Bluesky, Wikipedia, NPR, PBS, ...?

But what about more specific areas?

Driving my kids to school, we had David Bowie’s Black Tie White Noise playing, and wow, it hits right now...

The message of unity and bridging divides feels so relevant today. Definitely something we could use more of.

One of my dearest teachers put it this way: "Moral outrage doesn't make you more righteous. Instead, channel that energy into improving yourself and your family."
If you're fortunate enough that the things that are making you too distressed to function in life are things you're simply *reading* about, stop reading them for a while. Get back on your feet; tackle problems you can reach until you're functional enough to know what to do about the bigger stuff.

Moving to @thestorygraph.com, I had no idea the insights in it are far more useful than what Goodreads ever provided #booksky

Also picked up The Ghost Brigades...
