I have started to use these models offline, it's not quite the same experience but it gives me about 80% of what I need and the other 20% it's not that disruptive that I feel like I am truly missing the value.

Another one somewhat related... A year before my mom passed, I was visiting and had with me a 360 camera. After a rain, I shot a short video outside her house.

Watching it now, I hear the last raindrops, I can see the house, and feel like I’m there again, with my mom just a few steps away inside.

I moved to Mexicali in 2005, a city near the Imperial Valley where rain is rare. The first time it rained, the whole facility stopped, and everyone stared out the windows. I found it odd then, but after 15+ years there, I’d do the same.
