at a certain point, just take me at my word. the entire issue is people trying to parse a single part of a contract. you literally cannot do that.

I will go one further and point out that labelers generate their own firehose of data. It would be trivial for anyone save this output for training a model, and since it's pre-tagged, it's arguably* higher quality than the raw, unmodded data

*YMMV if your moderation is primarily automated to start.

it would be trivial to save everything that comes through the firehose for use in training generative AI

the open design of atproto makes this possible and the culture of alt text on bluesky provides free human generated image labels

if you can see it then so can an automated system

Bluesky revealed that they are using an automated image filtering system, ie something that uses AI, and people are losing their shit.

It is made even dumber because people (understandably) have feelings about their art/photos being by AI systems… except this is a public network.

Another problem is when tech people see normies misunderstanding tech things you to talk to us like we are a bunch of malicious idiots. When in fact we don’t have enough knowledge to parse what you are saying.

“information that is the same” would mean factual stuff, so like. they can’t steal/train on your words (which is outside the scope in this case anyway since they specifically use hive for image moderation afawk) but can restate like data you discuss
