We have a huge shortage of vet in my area. My little lumpy rat will have to wait a month to have his rdv, unless I pay hundreds of $ for an urgent visit 😔

Took him two weeks but Simon finally got over his vet trauma and started exploring again. I thought he had decided to be a forever potato. The heart on his head is just my way to bother him when he eats.

Tried to pet Simon only for him to immediately flop on his back and faked being dead. I'm both offended and charmed🥺.

Randomly had a blackout, which my mom hates so I put some light for her to do lego. I'm quite bored 😔

Cost me an arm because Simon had a huge cyst/pimple and he wouldn't let me remove it. Vet was impressed by how hard and big it was.
3h later it's all healed.

My employee Simon came to complain about my new work rule "no snacking on the job". As a good boss I ignored him and gave him more work. Those code reviews won't get done by themselves.

They gave us little sprouts to grow when I was at the gardening conference. Something about old people needing it because the food in nursing homes suck 🤣. I guess I will be eating little sprouts soon.
Lucerne sprouts growing in a manson jar. Still white ish without any green.

I sometimes worry I'm too rough on Simon, constantly squishing his beautiful face. But every time I put my hand near him, he just puts his head inside it to get more squeezes out of me. He's a squishy idiot 🤦🏼‍♀️.
