🥺 if we weren't so far apart I would share my very not dangerous exploding microwave with you. To help bring a spark in your family member's Christmas celebration.

Video of my hand lifting a dollar store grey cat bed. Under the cat bed is Douceur, a white and grey rat sleeping curled on his side. He doesn't wake up from being discovered.

I wish we had video call here too. I had vet visit last less than 5 minutes. My old vet would often prescribe on the phone, that was nice. My new vet just loved Simon so much she always wanted to see him 😂. She asked me to keep him alive until she's back from leave.

It's crazy. It's not like they are that hard to diagnose. The worst is when you get a vet whose solution is always euthanasia because rats life is so short. Like sorry I want them to have the best 2-3 years they can...they are not disposable pets.

Here it's harder to become a vet than a doctor, like you need a higher grade and it's even more restricted. Canada barely has any place teaching the practice. I think there's only 5 in the whole country. It's not sustainable. I'm lucky, I live close to 3-4 exotic vet clinic, and that's not enough
