It also completely fails to acknowledge that we are coming out of a pandemic which has left hundreds of thousands of people with significant long term impairments. And this was made worse by the actions/inaction of the UK government of the time.

Problem is that Labour (and the Tories) receive significant funding directly and indirectly from foreign nationals, organisations and governments. They don't want to cut off their own supply... so they'll the electorate get screwed.
