While some stuff hasn't aged too well (particularly the sexual assault imagery, so ymmv), I think Eureka Seven perfectly captures the feeling of what it's like being a horny teenager talking to older girls. It also hints at the later themes of how adults abuse children, not just in terms of sex.

Something that I'm only noticing now upon rewatch is that, for episode two at least, this is so rooted in the imagery of Evangelion, even following the same story beats with showing the aftermath of the engagement with the enemy before the actual battle takes place.

Kaguya-sama wa kokurasetai: Otona e no kaidan
Kaguya is still the best romcom in anime. Forty minutes of Kaguya are still hilarious. Yet I still feel robbed, because skipping so much of the manga robs this climax of its impact. I rather it had never been adapted.

Ring Fit Adventure (New Game ++ (again))
Been playing this daily trying to get all the titles I was missing (still 3 left) so I ended up completing a campaign. While I like it, this no longer meets my fitness goals. I'll finish the titles I'm missing and move on.

Ring Fit Adventure (New Game ++ (again))

Stranger Things 5: One of the most resonant and imaginative endings to have come out of Americana in a while. I suspect this finale is going to be remembered as fondly as Return of the Jedi, Return of the King, or Endgame going forward. Shame that the season it's attached to is so uneven.

So much Bee Mario! Why! I mean I don't hate Bee Mario but he is everywhere in this duology. I personally think Cloud Mario is a better implementation of his mechanics, aside from wall-climbing.

Luigi's Purple Coins is the fan favorite as far as hardest mission in the game, but IMO, Battlestation's Purple Coins are way harder. The constant gravity shifts mess up with your patience real bad, and there's zero margin of error.

I never realized that Mario's midair movement changes with Ice and Fire. I wonder why that even is a thing.
As for Freezeflame Galaxy's purple coins, it's another collectathon. This one starts to show the limitations of this type of mission with this moveset, since all sections are very segmented.
